Anybody know where we can buy a metal detector?
Ken has been building fences on the weekends getting ready for the sheep. *This past weekend, he lost his Texas A&M graduation ring! We're assuming it's in the yard somewhere but don't feel like combing through the jungle of grass looking for it. *And we're really hoping it is not under a fence post!!! |

Also, if you have no luck you can always go this route....I went through it 3 years ago and had to order another! http://www.aggienetwork.com/ring/csorder.aspx They also have a site for lost and found rings :-)

Thanks guys!
The ring has never just come off before. *But he's lost 40 pounds this year! If all else fails, we'll contact the network. Sharon, how did you lose yours? |

I was at the beach with my daughter and we were building sand castles and then got into running around and throwing sand at each other....I am guessing that it slipped off and went flying with the sand....I did not notice it was gone until later in the day.....It was kind of funny because mine was actually hard to get off....I had taken my wedding ring off and left it at home because I did not want to lose it....go figure......
I searched the beach and sand forever but I probably flung it off in the water....

I've had a metal detector for about 18 yrs. *heheh treasure hunting grammie.
see if you can rent one at a local rental place first. or ask on your local craigslist if there are any treasure hunters in your town to come scan for you. i've found a jewlery for ppl before. *if they're in your town, they shouldn't charge you at all. |

if you think you lost it in the yard, you can get a large magnet on a pole from a hardware store. *i bought one and use it often with home repair going on outside.
if it's down a post hole, you'd need a metal detector that has a deep coil. *i'd try the magnet first! *ace hardware should have one. *call first to see if they do before you do the drive. ![]() another thing you could do is go out at night with a flashlight where you think he lost it. *if it's on the ground it will reflect the light. |
