It's filmed 20 minutes from where I live - in Senoia, GA. It's quite popular around here, as you can imagine! Main St. Senoia shuts down from time to time while they're shooting, and several business fronts have been changed to fit the show. Some facades have also been built for outside shots. Near the beginning, some of it was shot on a friend's street in her neighborhood - quite exciting for the locals, since they recognize the sets, neighbors houses, etc.! Funny, I'm not even a Walking Dead fan...never have even watched the show.

I have never watched the show but a former Pittsburgh Steeler is to be on as a zombie tonight so my middle son wants me to record the episode. LOL
