Default Male boxer aggressive

My male boxer is 4 years old and neutered in the last few days he has became dog aggressive the first time was at the dog park two other dogs started fighting and he ran over and got in the middle of it and jumped on a beagle and hurt him. Then I decided to get a second boxer a 10 month old female thinking he would be fine with a female the first night he was fine then the next day around lunch he jumped on her and I got them separated put him in his kennel for a little while got him back out he was good for a little while then when she came close to him he jumped on her again and actually bit me in the process of trying to break them up that evening when I got home from work took them out side they ran played were great took them to the dog park they played great that night no problem then sat morning by nine she came up the hall way and jumped on her again this time with no regard toward my wife who was in between them so we took the female back to the lady we got her from because the female was not at fault at all and already a little timid but a very sweet dog and I didn't want him to make her mean I also have a two year old son he has became some what aggressive toward him recently he has always be great with kids before. He has never bit him but growled and kinda nipped at him.and I love my dog but if it comes to my son he has to go any help would be great thanks.

I would speak to a professional dog behaviorist/trainer right away about getting him some more training and evaluated.

Good luck I hope all works out well.

Just my opinion but I'm guessing the incident in the dog park was probably a protective thing and the dog that got hurt was an accident.

Where the introduction of a new dog is concerned, female or not, you changed the pack dynamic and it sounds like he was putting her in her place. Once that struggle begins, it's going to effect everyone in the pack. I'd bet things will settle down again soon with the female gone. If it were me, knowing now how change in pack dynamic effects him, I'd not try to add a new pack member again while you have him. Sounds like a one dog home suits him.

Just my 2 pennies

I agree with traceli. Sounds like he likes the pack as it is and doesn't like the idea of adding a new pack member. Some dogs just never adjust to more pets and in that case it's best to have him be the only pet.
