I have an almost 8 year old cousin with autism and he weighted vest or spandex type shirts don't work on him so iwas kinda skeptical about trying it... Happy they let me put it on him in the store and walk around for a while, actually he walked out of the store with it on! I love my petco!

My boxer started shaking uncontrollablly during thunderstorms when he was 7 years old (2 years ago) I purchased a Thundershirt for him, and it worked wonders during the storms. It's almost like it wrapped him tightly and gave him confidence. Not sure what the whole concept is, but it worked for him.

I think it's something with the pressure on the chest that makes them feel secure like they are being hugged.

I love that they let you walk out with it to really try it out and make sure you were getting what you paid for. Was it expensive? (Yeah, I'm sure pressure doesn't work for everyone. That would make me skeptical too.)

I tried a thundershirt on Aspen and it didn't help at all, I've heard very mixed reviews on them, some people have great success and other people don't notice a difference. Definitly worth a shot if you have an anxious dog!

Glad the thundershirt helped.
I've seen the commercials for that and always wondered if it was just a gimmick.

It was $40, and there's a 45 day return policy on them, unlike other products which are 30 days. Unfortunately I was t able to try it out today bc it was raining.... Tomorrow or wed ( supposed to rain Tuesday) are another day!
