Default Bad bella!!

We just had our first baby, he is 2 months old now. I try to give the dogs as much attention as I can. While my wife keeps the baby happy.

Well Bella has been getting into trouble lately, she is mad that we are not spending as much time with her.

She has had a few pee problems in the house. But the other day my wife sent me this picture. Her cage is 2' or more away from the christmas tree.. I never thought she would be able to reach it. Well here is the outcome.. She ate the wire, the bulbs, a little bit of everything..

Yeah im not really sure what else to do. My 5 year old boxer is just fine, but he is out of the "I need attention" stage.. We could NEVER get rid of her... I guess I just need to spend more time playing with her and giving her attention..

It's hard when they themselves are young & don't fully understand. I would say each of you try to spend some more time with her. Maybe when the baby naps your wife could just sit and love on her. Then when you are home, you give her some extra loves & play with her. I hope giving her some extra loves helps out. When we brought Murphy home we still tried to give Pheona her extra love that she was used to. We had a dog before Pheona so it was the 2 of them & Maggie always got her extra love when we brought Pheona into the house. Then after Maggie passed it was just Pheona & with her being depressed she got lots of loving. I still try to give each one special one on one time. I wish you the best of luck & congrats on the new baby.

OH, that little stinker! She just wants attention anyway she can get it. It's hard with a new baby in the house, I'm sure. She will settle down. I believe she is in her "teenager time" about now at 9mos. Hang in there! Congrats on your new baby!

My husband once left a pair of his jeans on top of Rally's crate. He's not a small guy (36W 34L) and she managed to drag 3/4 of them through the cracks. It was impressive to say the least.

Do you give her stuff to chew on? Rally is still a little brats unless she has something to chew on. We keep Paragon dental treats, bully sticks, everest chews and split Elk antlers in the house at all times. It's honestly helped a lot!

I can imagine the baby is quite an adjustment for everyone in the family but especially a Boxer in her "teenage years". Just give her lots of exercise and love. She'll figure this out
