Hi
I'm just wandering about everyone's experience with their female boxers first season. Dala my 7 month old brindle angel is seeming very odd today. Firstly she was very soppy and touchy this morning, then on our walk she was unusually submissive with a male lab puppy. Then all evening she's just been lying there staring into space. She ha been chewing her home a bit and being a bit playful but no where near her usual antics. We've just come up to bed and she's stayed downstairs on her own and flopped in the dining room!! She has never opted to be downstairs if we're both upstairs we just don't know why's up! Has anybody got some advice or are we over reacting? Thanks in advance Jessie Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

If she's in heat her "girly parts" will swell up which is visible and she will start bleeding. This doesn't sound like a heat if she isn't swollen.

hmmm My girl got very sensitive and emotional... she became even more "velcro dog" then usual. But as Saharanight mentioned...her backend swelled up days before any spotting. So Im not sure... sorry I couldn't help.
