Default Opinions on these breeders

Hello! I had written to these two breeders several months back inquiring about their Boxers. Though I have my heart set on Kaco Boxers, I just received responses from both previous breeders and wanted everyones opinion.

1. Winn Creek Boxers - Winn Creek Boxers | Graham, North Carolina emailed me copies of health tests and was very thorough in answering my questions and concerns

2. Boxers von Bachbett - Boxers von Bachbett- Working German Boxers sent me a very detailed email of health testing, records, pedigree and also answered my questions.

I just want to get everyones opinion of these two breeders
Thank you!!!

You can not go wrong with Boxers Von Bachbett

They however train many of their dogs as police service animals and are very active in schutshund training so, when inquiring I would suggest that you ask for parents that don't have a lot of drive. Even then, they are European working dogs so you still might end up with a puppy that needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation

I'd go with boxers von bachbett. I find working dogs are some of the most loyal, owner friendly dogs.

Welcome to the world of breeding! It's not all roses, let me tell you.

Midline birth defects is a part of our breed. It's due to the short muzzles but there is a lot of environmental factors that can also cause them such as a poor diet, exposure to pesticides/herbicides etc.

I have had my share of cleft palates, and so has any other boxer breeder. It by no means influences or changes a breeders breeding ethics or practices.

I only know of von Bachbett, and wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their dogs. I have to mention our experience is that these Boxers are extremely strong! My male could drag me at four months, especially if it was slippery. I'm strong, so this can be an issue while leash training. We had an animal behaviorist come to the house to work on company manners with our two. She said it took her over twice as long to get them to a semi-tired state compared to other Boxers she's worked with. At an AKC puppy class the instructor was not experienced in the higher drive dogs, and we usually needed to work with the breeder on some obedience issues. It helps to live fairly close to a working dog facility. Wonderful dogs!
