Default Dog food help/ideas???

So my husbands family has had boxers his whole life. They had them on blue buffalo but with the recalls they switched to eukanuba..when we got our oldest dog from them as a puppy that's what he was on so we just kept him on it becausie it worked with him, he's on lamb and rice formula. We got another puppy she's now 9 months we have to put her on the chicken because everywhere was out of lamb and rice. We now know more that she for one can't do the chicken formula it caused ear infections, and for two that eukanuba isn't as good as his family thought at the time.
So we've all been researching and discussing what to put our dogs on. Obviously orijin is good but that's a lot of money. So next weve been thinking natural balance possibly fish and sweet potato and TOWD.
Weve considered raw diet but we are looking at dry dog foods for right now. Opinions, other suggestions?? Thank you in advance!!

I feed my 8 month old puppy Acana. She loooves it and it's a good food. I was feeding her Royal Canin, but she had some sort of reaction (we aren't 100% sure it was caused by the food, vet was a bit stumped). But she's healed up nicely since she's been on Acana. I also give her coconut oil every day.

You can get Acana on Chewy.com if you're in the US. One thing to keep in mind is that Acana in the US is now made out of a facility in Kentucky. It seems that their formula isn't exactly the same as the Canadian one and the sudden change was causing stomach upset to some dogs.

We live in Canada and we feed Acana. I have nothing but amazing things to say about their food. If you're going to feed kibble, I think this is the best kibble you can give your dog!

Ohhh yeah I'm in Canada, must be easier to get here.
Yeah, I feed her coconut oil before her dinner every night, she loves licking it right off the spoon! It's made her coat really nice!

Hope I can post a link here without getting in trouble.

The link might help you find a good food available in your area.
We use Fromm.
One of ours gets ear infections when she eats some chicken foods. She fought the reoccurring infections monthly for 3 yrs until the emergency vet gave her ANIMAX 30/DERMAGEN/QUAD OINT. It cleared the ear infection completely.
