This is just MY opinion, but I personally do not feed grain. First of all, Hannah is allergic to it. (realized this after two months of diarrhea!) The second reason is that grains/complex carbs FEED cancer. With a breed so susceptible to cancers, I try to be proactive and possibly -- I say possibly prevent my dogs from ever having to endure such suffering.

Why would a dog want millet anyway??? I feed my finches millet! Or barley???

There's nothing really "special" in this formulation, IMO. I've also never heard of it.

Are you looking for a certain price range? There are some good affordable foods out there.

Kirkland dog food from Costco is super affordable and rated really well amongst dog foods. It is made by Diamond Pet Foods and has no bi-products. I feed raw diet though.
