Default Taste of the Wild Feeders: How much???

Ok, we switched to Taste of the Wild Dog Food in April and Koko (boxer) and Ginger (lab mix) are doing GREAT on it.........

I feed Ginger 3 1/2 cups of food per day and she has filled out nicely, her thick hair is soft and less shedding and she is glossy.

Koko has Good poops now, soft and glossy hair.........My question is, How much am I supposed to be feeding a 32 pound, 6 month old Boxer? How much do you all feed your 6 month old pups?

I know she is growing and her ribs are showing (vet says because she is growing) and we feed her about 4 cups of food per day. She gets yogurt, raw chicken a couple times per week and other fruit and veggie treats too. She eats very healthy and I try to keep them fed very Natural..........

They do go through a gangly stage they grow before they fill out, that said sometimes boxers who don’t keep condition on can often be due to too much exercise. Have you wormed her?

The amount really depends on the dog, my 2 boxers have a different amount of food to keep them at their ideal weight.

Mine is about six and a half months and getting close to 50 lbs. I try to get her to eat about 4 cups of the TOTW a day, but usually she'll eat about 3, sometimes more.

Artie is almost 7 months and weighs almost 50lbs. He eats about 3.5-4 cups/day sometimes even less depending on his mood. His ribs show also, but he's growing strong! He's a tall gangly guy

Thanks everyone. My hubby keeps saying she looks so thin, but she seems to keep getting taller and taller. She is about as tall as my Lab/Akita mix and she is about 50 pounds herself.

She eats between 3.5 and 4 cups per day. She is very strong, our vet and our groomer can't believe how muscular she is at her age.......Our groomer, who also has boxers, says she is big for her age. We thought she looked small for 6 months.........

I will just keep doing what I am doing then. She is overly energetic and playful and growing and our Vet seems to think she is fine and she is just at that awkward stage of growing as he says.

Thanks again!!!

3.75 to 4.5 cups for a 80-100lbs big boy,so if anything, you are right on the money

For a 6 months 30-40 lbs is 3-3.66 cups/day.

Valant is free feeding, shove his muzzle into his bowl 3-4 times/day and everytime he digs a hole as big as...his muzzle and stops

He sits at a steady 92.4 lbs per vet`s scale yesterday, been holding that weight since last winter,we both happy

My hubby was hoping that she would be a bigger boxer when we first got her. I weighed her on our household scale and it said she is 42, not 32 pounds..........

So she has grown quite a bit since her last vet appointment. She is getting taller and taller.

I see everyone referring to "cups" of food. Is everyone using liquid or dry measurements? And is there any real noticeable difference?
