Vets like to cross sell their own products. Hills diets are not in your puppies best interest Chicken Soup for the Puppy lovers Soul is by far a better dog food than the one he sent you home with!

If your vet has not taken any course on pet nutrition and/or has a background in pet nutrition then I would just feed hime what you already have hinm on. They don't spend that much time on nutrition while they train for to be a vet so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks, i didn't plan on switching, just wanted someone who knew more about it than myself.

when they asked me what i was feeding him and i told them, they acted like they have never heard of it (maybe they haven't) and that it wasn't good.

I trust my breeder over the vet.

Chicken Soup has way better ingredients than the food the vet suggested. The Hills food is loaded with crap!

Feed the Chicken Soup! I've learned over the years not to listen to the vet in reguards to nutrition.
