Fully plan to when she's allowed to jump off bed. With the leg surgery she's not allowed to run or jump. I long for that day when she can tell me she needs to pee by getting off the bed! My luck she'll just come pee on my pillow and lay back down!

Murphy has a kennel in my bedroom. During the week she goes out one last time around 10pm & sleeps till our alarm goes off at 6pm. On the weekends she goes to bed between 11 & 12 getting up around 7am then as she is used to breakfast around 7:30am.

Does she only pee in her crate at night or is she doing it while your gone too? Honestly, my Horatio has not had a single accidnet since I let him start sleeping in bed with me. And he sleeps in longer!! Used to have a few accidnents and wake up at 7am every morning to pee. Since we stopped crating him at night he'll easily sleep til 10am and no accidents. Are you cleaning the crate with a strong cleaner that completely gets rid of the scent? You may not be able to smell it but remember that dogs have a greater sense of smell. I personally LOVE Nature's Miracles. She'll get it. Horatio was a peeing nightmare and when he hit about 7-8 months old it was just like a light bulb went off and he got the whole potty training thing. We've had a few set backs since I just moved but he's figuring it out again

She pees whether it's bed time or we're out of the house. Makes no difference

So we go to bed last night at 1:00 am. I take her out then SHE wants to get in her crate. So this morning at 6:30 I get up, enter her room, and am greeted by the aroma of fresh poop and pee.
I can almost forgive the poop. She'd prefer not to do it though she doesn't let me know it's about to happen. The PEE however is like a big F. You. It's not like a little puddle in the corner. It's like she reinacted that scene from flash dance in there! Not a flat surface on the floor of the crate is clean. Even the walls have pee splashed on them! I don't know what to do. And there she is filthy and unashamed. I mean she's not a puppy factory dog. What kind of dog likes to be surrounded by it? I get that it's a huge crate. It's the one from petco with the full grown boxer on the side. I've tried the whole limit space option and that makes no difference. I've lately resorted to old towels in there which she will pee on then push away from her. If nothing else just to not have to bathe her daily! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
