Well I made the switch. Still with a puppy formula but went went wellness. Not core bc it's not exactly in my budget at the moment and petco didn't have anything but a 4 lb bag in the puppy stuff tonight. So I got the super5mix ( which is a step up from what he was getting before) We had puppy classes tonight and I only feed him half his dinner so he will be hungry and work for treats. So when we got home I mixed some of the new with the old and he gobbled it up so fast. As of now he doesn't seem to be having any issues with it! Not that I'm worried about transitioning him. He eats penny's crap Iams senior no calorie no taste no smell food with no issues! I'm also thrilled that I get a lb more and it's $10 less, not on sale!!!! I believe I can order a 30 lb bag online. A 15lb bag is $33, and I believe the 30 lb bag is 53. Sorry just a little excited for me to be making the switch and feeding him what "I" want to feed. (Chris picked out the precious food).
