Question Feeding enough ?

Zeus just turned 7 months yesterday and is currently on Blue Buffalo Basics for Puppies. Turkey and Potato. Poops have never been BETTER!

Zeus currently eats 1 1/2 cups in the morning, 1 cup at lunch, and 1 1/2 cups at night of food. Totaling to 4 cups a day. After reading the blue buffalo bag it states I should only be feeding Zeus twice a day now that he is 7 months old.

Should I switch to twice a day and increase the amount of food he gets?

Also, since he is 7 months does he stay on puppy food or do I switch him over to adult now?

I have attached a picture of him standing so you can see how he looks.

There was another thread recently on switching. I have an 8 mo old who weighs 63 lbs. He is on the bb freedom- I have been mixing the puppy w the adult for a month or two now. He seems to do better w the mixing and having the adult - which is lower protein than the puppy. However, my mom who is a vet recc. He stay on puppy food til at least a year. Another person on this forum brought up a good point in that post- as long as he's really still growing and gaining weight, he prolly should be on puppy, but ultimately it's your choice when to switch to adult. As far as the amt to feed, my guy eats 4 cups a day- 2 in the mornjng and 2 at night and he is just fine. Each dog will be diff with how much they need, exercise and energy level, etc. I would go by him and how he looks and acts as far as upping the feeding amt- if he's starving and licking the floor or wanting to eat ev thing in sight, or acts starving, or is too thin, than I would up the amt but as long as he looks good, I think 4 c is jus fine

Murphy started poking at her lunch meal so we cut it out. She gets a 1.5 cups in the morning & another 1.5 cups in the evening. She eats both of those meals quickly but at lunch when I'd feed her, she'd just play with it more than anything. That is why we upped her other food amounts.

He looks great I would start switching him over to an adult food and only 2 meals per day.

Okay. How should the switching go? Should I do large breed or just regular adult food... ? I love the blue buffalo brand.
