Great article! Yeah, sounds like the Walmart one probably isn't as good. Ill just use it for cooking and get more of the better stuff for the pups.

I have never been able to find the good stuff at Walmart for cheap. I think our brand is Nutriva??? It's the virgin , not extra virgin, but is organic, cold pressed- and I get it for 15.00 at the health food store. Thankfully I can get buy one get one half off. I give both coconut and salmon oil together and a raw egg once a week. On the coconut oil- I have been giving for about 3 months now and he is getting 5-6 tsp every day and is 65 lbs at 9 mo

Nutriva is the one I'm giving the pups. I got the extra virgin at GNC for $15.

Ours is Nutriva. I bought it at a local health food store but found it is actually cheaper on Amazon.

Lol! I'm a bad mommy because I did not notice that I was supposed to start my pups off slow. Oops. The little guy gets maybe a teaspoon, Maggie gets a tablespoon, and Gabby gets a heaping tablespoon. They started on this amount and seem to do well on it. They also get pumpkin and go for their food in the same order! Well, Benjamin often steals Maggie's coconut oil so I have to steal his. Lol. Working on that...
