Does anybody have a problem with their Boxer eating crap as in: leaves, rabbit poop, and such?

Mine loves eating all the crap off the dirt and will do it for hours.

What won't my boxer eat?! Lol we don't have any rabbits that can come into our yard so thank goodness no poop there, but he def loves rocks and sticks and leaves, you name it. He's worse than a kid. Lol one night he hit my candle over and broke it doing his boxer burns and I thought I got all the glass picked up- a few mins later he's running around with a piece of glass in his mouth- that was VERY scary! He didn't touch our Xmas tree- but he took ornaments of my moms tree and ate them. He will eat anything and he's 9 mo

Heck yea. When Porter was a puppy, I pulled all nature of stuff out of his mouth...rocks, sticks, leaves, acorns, mushrooms, my flowers, etc. His favorite was to dig a hole and eat the dirt. I couldn't let him be outside alone for a moment. Thank goodness he has outgrown that pretty much...he still likes sticks. Watch out for the rabbit poop. Mine got a parasite, eimeria, from rabbit droppings.

Heck Kippah when I first got her in august ate her own poop for awhile :0 Thankfully with the help of digestive enzymes and her now knowing she wont be starved again she has stopped that. But yes she will eat all kinds of strange things if I let her

Yes. Eat anything and everything. When I first got my girl she ate though the a/c wires outside and we had no a/c for two weeks while my dad figured out what was wrong. She burned the fuses, thermostat for the ac inside and the motherboard in the attic. All from outside.

Oh yes mine HATES electrical tape. Hates it! He's ripped our surround sound wires out from the wall 3 x now. One time he wasn't even out 5 mins and had it torn all to hell. Aww I was so mad! Thankfully he hasn't went for any other wires or electrical units. And they WILL eat furniture so be careful!

They love to eat everything and anything. Summer out her are 90+ and up over 100s. So not fun. My dad almost got rid of her but I couldn't let him

EDIT: she also ate all the greens in the back yard. From giant birds of paridise to palm trees. She destroyed it all

In the very first class I teach in my puppy course... we cover the "leave it" You may want to work on that it will help some. Both my guys were really good... of course as pups when I wasn't there to supervise they were in their crates. Other then that as soon as they would sniff around something they shouldn't, we could simply say leave it, and they would go off to something else.

He never got a hold of our tree but then again he was only at home for 4 days when it was up. He just found a screw in the dirt and was running around with it in his mouth.

He loves digging and eating rabbit poop, sticks, leaves...you name it! It gets crazier by the day! Thanks for the heads up on the poop. At this point, theres no way to stop that lol
