Default Supplements for boxers and the missing link

I remember raising my lab on the missing link supplements but I am not sure of that's still a popular all around supplement.

Does anyone else use the missing link with their boxers?

What do you all recommend to start my puppy on. Preferably an all around join, skin, and multi V

I would never supplement a growing puppy. Instead I would focus on feeding a quality food. To many supplements or the wrong combination of supplements can have horrible effects on a puppies development.

I should've wrote it a little differently. When I transition him into adult food I want to implement supplements.

He's on a great pup food Wellness Core

Well in that case I would supplement with some fish oils and vitamin E at least. I havent seen The Missing Link in ages.

I just went to their website and looked up this:

The Missing Link - The Missing Link Ultimate Hip & Joint Formula for all breeds of adult dogs - 1 lb. Pouch

Really the ingredients arent anything special and easy to add in yourself. All I am seeing is Omega 3's and 6's, Glucosamine, kelp, alfalfa and flavourings. I guess its convenient to just scoop and add.

I give my dogs 100% Salmon Oil for Omega 3's, Vitamin E to help the body use them, Olive oil for Omega 6's, kelp powder, alfalfa powder and two of my dogs also get Cosequin which is glucosamine.

I would personally add in some Vitamin C also to help build healthy joints and for immune support.
