I think my problem was I wasn't freezing anything. Thanks for all the option given. I'm gonna try to see what my pups like best!

I use pb to fill the small hole then yougrt and fruit them pb to block off the big hole then freeze you can really put anything in them i have used pieces of broken biscuts to block the holes then filled with fruit then pb as a "topper" I have even used freezer burned icecream softened it up a bit then filled the kong and re froze it they thought that was heaven I also make them PUP cicles in the summer with chicen or beef broth on a biscuit "stick" in the tall popcicle forms nah mine arent spoiled LOL

I use a hallow bone like goudasmom, too. I usually fill it with peanut butter... I like t freeze it overnight, but sometimes I forget...
I used to use the kong,but honestly, Georgie "hid" it somewhere and it's yet to show up since... So, I've been using the bone now... My brother gets me some beef basted bones that his dog loves, and once the beef baste is gone, I fill it with peanut butter... He gets them for about $3... I can't remember the name of the store, but they don't have them here in NY, so he'll bring up 4-5 every time he comes... I whip out a fresh one when I need Georgie to be "occupied" for an hour or so... Like when I am having company over... They seem to last forever!! |
