Hey Everyone,
I figured that since I will be introducing my boxer boy pup after we get him this weekend, I would first introduce my girl pup today.
Say hello to Molly. Her whole family (her dad, mom, 2 bothers and 1 sister) was in a Barstow (CA) kill shelter. Luckily, her dad, who was a purebred monster of a black lab, her mom, who was a purebred brindle boxer, and 2 brothers were almost immediately adopted out. But that left her and her sister due to be put down within the week (I mean seriously, who would kill puppies!).
A local boxer rescue was keeping their eyes on the family and saved them from their demise and my wife and I jumped at the chance of getting a mix of two great breeds (lab/boxer) and actually brought her sister home too (for friends that we know have been looking for a boxer mix). She is now about 14 weeks old and a great little pup that already knows sit (verbal and hand sign), down (still working on verbal), shake, and walks on the leash like a champ. She loves to fetch and is quickly learning how to be gentle with our two children, Colton and Lily.
