I am very proud of my boxer boys, we had a party here sunday for my sons 16th bday, I had the dogs behind a gate on the staircase so they could see what was going on but wouldn't be underfoot and sneaking food that is unsafe.. plus with the door being open and closed it was safer, they could have easily jumped the gate it wasn't very secure but they didn't I have 50 people here, they were so good when my little niece and nephew 9 and 3 wear petting through the gate and even when people sat on the lower stairs and ate.. I am so proud of them and when I let them out they were excellent... Mason is so well behaved and lately so has Mackie... proud mommy moment... and then I relized my baby is 16 and got a permit... this is my youngest child,,,,,,, oh boy... we drove all day yesterday and today..... my baby can drive..... urgg think I better just hold onto my boxers a little tighter they wont grow up and start driving...lol

Glad they did well with so many guests. :)

We had a few people over this past Saturday and mine were good too - someone left one of the gates open in the back yard and they never wandered off. But they are trained not to run through / dash out the gates. They are always happiest to stay where the people are. Perhaps a squirrel might tempt them though :)

Congrats! on the dogs and your son. I remember when mine girls started to drive, lord help us...its the worry. One of mine took to driving like a duck in water the other not...LOL. At first I'd make them call when they got to where they were going then when they left, finally I said Don't call me...it was more stress waiting and wondering. Thank goodness I'm past all that.
