Jake had his final vet check today..47 lbs..will be 6 months on Thursday. Anyway, I was looking back over his "baby" pictures and reminiscing and realized he doesn't bark. He play growls when "wrestling" with big sis Roxie, whines to go outside and has a hilarious moan/groan when I rub the sweet spot behind his ears but no bark yet. Roxie (min schnauzer) is not a big barker either..except when the mailman comes, lol. Any other quiet furbabies?

Duke rarely barks, only if he gets "wound" up , he does whine when he wants something.. But that's about it.. Pretty quiet. The boxer I babysat two years ago was a "barker" especially if people came to the door.. Duke doesn't say a peep.. Not sure if it's something they grow into.. But I have a feeling Duke is just a quiet boy and will always be your guy might be too... My neighbors have a little dog who is really " yappy" .. Which make me happy that Duke isn't . Although sometimes I think it wouldn't be a bad thing if he barked when people came to the door.

Lucky you!! Probably learned it from your other pup!! Enjoy I have one that's a heavy barker - learned it from neighboring dogs and one that's not too bad has to be really worked up and when I call her she'll break off and come inside, the big guy doesn't usually.

Hank really did not start to bark until around 7 months. He is getting his voice more and more. Of course he only barks when something is wrong or when he is getting really excited. Glad h wis not a "barker" like some dogs. But, when he does bark, he can be really loud.

I think you will see in a month or two your Boxer will start to get his voice.

Kai is beginning to give a deep woof when the others dogs are chiming, but for the most part he doesn't bark much. When he is gated in a particular room with me and my husband comes to the doorway he will whine and give a low woof and just wiggles like crazy he is telling him ok pet me pet me and open the gate . We still keep he close by to keep an eye on him. He is getting better but still not trustworthy the other day my daughter had him gated in our tv room while she was doing something and he shredded her pillow to pieces.
