I have a question. I have a 5 yrs old female and a 1 yrs male boxers. I just notice my female have leaking milk, her heat was in May '15. She also vomit a couple times, and I don't think about her being pregnant. She could be pregnant or is a false one.
The only one that can answer this question is your Vet.
Is your male unaltered? Do you leave him and your female in heat, alone, unsupervised? If so, that is very irresponsible. Well duh! What do you think is going to happen in a situation like this?? Just another litter of puppies in the world because there aren't enough homeless dogs being euthanized every day already, right?
Please note that we do not condone unethical or irresponsible breeding on this forum, be it by "accident" or not.
When in May was her heat cycle? Has she seen a vet? If she is carrying puppies they could come any day. Are you the least bit prepared for this? If she's not, I'd suggest you plan to get your pups spayed and neutered so this doesn't happen again.
oh.em.gee. you live in Texas. have you ANY idea how many boxers die in Texas shelters every day? and passing puppies off to your friends is no guarantee, believe me. i've been at this rescue thing for YEARS and i wouldn't recommend a boxer to most, if any, of my friends. having the capacity to own a dog doesn't make you a fit boxer parent...obviously.
