So whats the worst/bad thing your boxer has done.... and the best!
Mason use to eat my flip flops and all my favorite bras....
He actually was a very good puppy and is awesome still, he gives lots of loving, sleeps late and is very overprotective of me, he will stand between me and strangers.
Mackie, OMG where do I start....
He ate my couches, both of them, not really eat it more like play tug of war with it and pull it across the room, hubby refinished the couches and he did it again, then last month hubby got new rugs and new furniture, I block the dogs from room while gone and I went away this last weekend and he got to the new couch,,,,,, I had to resew the couch.... I could cry, he doesn't eat it just pulls it......other then that he is a good boy, he is a little lovebug and has the uncanny sense of knowing when I need him to lay next to me and cuddle..
Duke is pretty good, he did destroy the cats bed once... Lol poor cats although now they sleep in his bed..
Oh and Duke likes to destroy toilet paper rolls... Yet again I think he thinks his a cat, my kitten loves to unravel the toilet paper, and now Duke does too. Damn cats! Lol
My huaband was working in the attic space and didn't want to chance Max running into the attic, so she had a piece of plywood across the doorway to the family room, of course Max felt that he needed to be helping, I heard these funny sounds coming from the stairway, when I went to look, what to I find?? He had been gnawing on the wood trim on the stair treads - what?????? Other than a roll of or two of TP that was it for Max. Where do I start with Zoe?? OMG my favorite hair comb, my favorite hair clip, bushes in the backyard, the end of the cord on my laptop charger, ........ her latest act of destruction, the starter button and temperature knob on the smoker. She's 18 months old now, please tell me it's tapering off. Please......:crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye:
I don't know about anyone else but it seems to me, if you are in the house with them no problem, they go about, playing with their toys, nudging you for a pet, sleep, over and over but go out, remote is missing, their bed is in shreds...papers come off desk,,,my goodness who did that Kai never jumps up on the desk...
The good thing is he seems to be getting better, leaves the remote alone now, doesn't have a bed in his crate, thats the one he'd destroy...and I can go outside and everything seems to be in place when I come back in. However if I do go out for awhile...he gets crated. Not taking chances...yet
I forgot to add this one - both we napping so I didn't want to wake them. I went across the street to put chlorine in the neighborhood pool for maybe 10 minutes, I came back and an entire box of kleenexes was shredded all over the living room floor - Zoe had a mouthful of kleenexs and Max was sitting close by like I told her not to do it but she didn't listen to me.
Worst thing? Chewed on the corner of one of my dining room chairs and chewed on one of my Japanese tatami mats (that act as the platform for my mattress, for a bed).
The worse thing Duke has done is chew up my high heels. The most disgusting thing he's done was eating used feminine hygiene products out of the trash! yuck!
Zoe has a field day when we've had company if I don't check the guest bath and grab the trash can that was on the counter when they arrived but usually in the "normal" spot on the floor when they leave lol
This is more along the lines of annoying..Last thing at night and first thing in the morning Jake licks his privates..LOUDLY! Since I'm home all the time we haven't had any chewing or housebreaking problems. The best thing he ever did was sleep through the night from day one.
Aspen had two especially awesome moments, interestingly enough both involve poop....
I had only had Aspen for a couple of days (she was about 9 months old), she was not crate trained yet and I was still figuring out the best way to leave her alone, so at this time she had free roam of the apartment if I was only going to be gone for a short period of time. I was gone for about an hour and a half and during this time Aspen ate an entire container of lotion, then had explosive diarrhea all over my kitchen. It appeared that she then slipped and fell in her diarrhea, and from what I can figure, she then tried to wipe herself off because she smeared the diarrhea all over my couch, my bed, and on the clothes hanging in my closet (didn't think I was risking much by leaving my closet door open, boy was I wrong!). I came home to a smiling kidney beaning boxer covered head to toe in poop, and my golden retriever hiding in the bathtub. That day I invested in a steam cleaner and a dog crate.
The second incident was only a few months ago. We had some friends over with their baby. I didn't know this, but they changed their baby's diaper, and put the dirty diaper in the garbage can in our downstairs guest bathroom (which we almost never use). A few days later we were upstairs in the kitchen and I could smell something nasty from downstairs, so I went down to investigate and Aspen had pulled the diaper out of the garbage, ripped it open, and smeared it all over the basement. It was so nasty, I would prefer dog poop over baby poop any day! Thank goodness we don't have carpet. We now have covered garbages in all the bathrooms.
