For anyone who has followed my previous threads, Louie suffered from congenital heart disease. I knew he wouldn't have a normal life but his death today came as a total shock. I have never felt such an intense pain in my life...
He showed no signs of suffering or anything remotely indicative of what was to happen. He simply went to sleep under a tree and never woke up. I am heart broken and don't really know how to cope. My Louie was only 9 months old. You don't really know what something like this feels like until it happens to you. I hope all the boxer mothers and fathers keep their babies close tonight and give them a cuddle for Louie.
Thank you for all of the encouraging words posted on the threads I wrote about Louie.
Wow, I am so sorry for your loss. He is a beautiful boy, the dog Gods had bigger plans for him. I hope you can find some comfort in your tough times. Be well.
I can't even express how sorry I am. It's never easy (I just lost my Rocky at only 7 years old to cancer), but you have to remember all of the good times you shared and know you gave him a great life (no matter how long).
Oh I'm so sorry you lost Louie so soon. I do remember your posts and about your concerns when moving. You gave Louie a good life. In a way though it was a shock for you he went peacefully, just going to sleep on his own. Will keep you in my thoughts.
Thank you to everyone for the replies. Going to bring his ashes back home.. He never got to meet my other dog so this is my way of doing it. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
So sorry for your loss. Louie was so young - run free baby boy!!
