I am asking for prayers for my dear friend Micki who had to put her boxer Cashis Clay to sleep last night, he was a 7 yr old brindle. He got bloat/flipped stomach last night while at the ER vet they discovered he has cancer so unable to operate, this has devastated my friend and her kids. they are going through a nasty divorce and Cashis was her little rock, she cried on his back many a nights, and as any boxer owner knows they are so intuned to our feelings. Her son is my sons best friend and she is one of mine and we were starting to get the dogs use to each other so we could dogsit each others babies. She had no warning that this was coming.
so please send prayers and love as this famly has to watch their baby cross the rainbow bridge. RIP Cashis.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that!! The only thing worst than an ER visit is getting there and hearing that due to unforeseen complications ...your dog is not coming home again! :(

Just so sorry to hear this!

Tell her to take care of herself and it will get better with time. :(

I went to visit her yesterday and she is a mess, its been a hard year, and this is just breaking her heart, she is in bed and can't stop crying and is pushing her other dog away he is a bulldog and not loving at all but I saw him trying to yesterday, she is pushing everyone away including me so I had to go to her, she wont get out of bed. I feel horrible for her.

oh my, how sad and tragic, Kim. We all have been through some kind of pain and loss. We all process differently. Just let her know you are there for her, keep trying . Remind her of her kids who need her and my goodness the Bulldog is also trying. Sending positive thoughts and prayers to your friend at this very trying time.
