Rumbling belly

Hi, my 2 year old pup gets a very noisy belly every morning. And sometimes she sicks up some frothy yellow sick. And heads straight outside to chomp some grass. She also seems to be off her breakfast, if I add abit of cheese and tempt her to eat. She'll chomp it down and be absolutely fine all day long.
I'm guessing it's tummy acid and an empty belly. I feed her a good quality food. The recommended amount. 300g split into 2, ( half at 7am the other half at 6pm).. She also gets a handful before bed for her supper.
She's full of energy, a perfect weight and build. So I'm not sure what to do.
I was thinking of bulking her evening meal up to try and keep her belly fuller through the night, im just not sure what to bulk it up with..
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Talk to your vet about perhaps giving some famotadine (pepcid). My girl was doing that off and on for a few months and we tried it twice a day for a month and it seems to help. I haven't had any problems since going off of it unless we have company and someone gives her food from their plate. I keep it on hand just in case she gets upset an upset tummy like that.

LOL I'm not so good at conversions either but I think 300 g is about 10 1/2 ounces, which I believe would be a bit more than a cup , so maybe thats about 3 cups per day? If she can handle additional food without getting loose stool or putting on excess weight I would increase her evening meal. It sounds like hunger pukes to me...my chihuahuas get this, if I don't give them a little extra food in the evening they will throw up yellow frothy stuff.

Hunger Pukes - Boxer's are known for this, before you try Pepcid, break her meals up into three with one meal right before going to bed.

We have always done that with our dogs and it has always worked, although our previous girl did require pepcid before bed. But our other two never have.

We feed a normal breakfast then break the dinner meal up into two. But you can try what ever works for you...

Could be your not feeding enough, or slim chance it could be the food...but try bedtime feedings first...

Good Luck and let us know how it works out..

Thanks everyone. Quick update. ( and I'll try and not go metric)
I've up'd her food half a cup so she gets a bigger supper. I think she was getting 2 cups so now it's 2.5.. She's been better, only had the rumbles once this week. I think everyone's right and she's hungry.
I'm just a bit worried about feeding her to much. The vet says she's a perfect weight and she looks great. I'm quite happy with her food. I feed her this one. (http://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/dog-food-reviews/0054/barking-heads-adult)
Its not the best food on the market but it's good quality with no nastys.
The cheese I added was just to tempt her to eat her breakfast it's not a regular thing.

Do any of you guys add anything to your
pups dry food to bulk it up a bit like veg, pasta, rice.. rather than just feeding more of the same.
Thanks again for the advise..

That alone makes it unique so I'd stick with it myself. They did mention it's not great for dogs that are not given enough exercise, so maybe high in calories ??

So keep an eye on her weight. But the chesse thing?? This maybe a better option:

Good to hear her tummy is settling. That food looks decent. It would be better if it didn't have any grains (rice and oats) but the ingredients aren't too bad at all.

Personally we use tough love with food. No toppers used here. Food is put down for 10-15 minutes and if Duke doesn't eat it gets taken away until next meal. However, Duke is great and will eat just about anything we serve him!
