Not sure if Duke is alone in this but he LOVES cats. Here is loving his baby sister - hoping the link works, http://youtu.be/WuAaZBiLtnQ
Ever since we brought him home, he has just loved cats, sometimes I think he acts like a cat, he rubs up against our hand, around our legs lol... The one in the video is the new member of the family her name is "Roseanne", we also have a big orange tabby named Marvin who hogs his bed at night.. Duke will lay on the cold hardwood floor, while the cat sits right in the middle of his bed.... The cats defiantly rule the roost, Duke defiantly doesn't mind. Lol
What a wonderful heartwarming video!. All my dogs and cats over the years, various breeds have all loved my cats and bonded together and it's lovely to see,Beautiful!.
OK you are apparently the first to possibly benefit from my change in "approach." I saw your thread from earlier last year and saw that your efforts to find competent help were failing!
As I said in a PM or did I?? The trainers that did not call you back were rude but most likely they did you a favor! They knew they could not help so "instead" of saying that, they just did not return your call! Most likely they saved you time and money in wasted effort!
My "specialty" as it were is to help others solve there problems themselves with a minimum use of "tools" ie SLL.
But sometimes people do need a more hands on approach! And it really ticks me off when people have to struggle to find someone to help them and in most cases they end up with 'the wrong someone, if they have a "serious" issue!" Time, money and effort down a rat hole!
So today I decided to follow my own advice for you!
I contacted Jeff on FB! Once in the past to complain about his sites lack of organization! Didn't get anywhere with my suggestion that his info could be better organized but I did hear from "him!"
Soooo, I did it again on your behalf! I explained your situation and asked if he knew of anyone in your area. He's busy in Hawaii so I did not actually expect to hear from him??
I'll create a Cat dog thread in any case. I do believe if you go with them you'll see yet again "The Place Command" being featured!
And most likely an E Collar recommend??? Don't sweat if it is! When used properly there are no issues with it.
I have that on good authority! And to be accurate I don't "know" it will be a recommendation?? But I do know ...time is money! Pet people have "time" to screw around "Pro's" don't.
"This" Dog v Cat, thing has been going on much to long for you! Give them a call!
Aww that was so sweet, Kai is ok with our cats but he wouldn't just sit there and let them climb on him. He always wants to give them a sniff before going off to lie down, and they are never too sure thats all he wants.
Ok now I reply to topic! Yep my guys are all like that. In fact when the dogs go out in the morning if the ou door cats are in the yard they would run up to Struddell and she would dip her head just like that clip, to greet them if she was standing!
Rocky doesn't acknowledge cats at all. But if he is laying down they rub him and greet him as long as he is down and he still pays them no mind! In doors they share the same bed once I move the cats out of the middle of his bed!
I want to train my boxer to attack and eat cats. I hate cats.:cheers:
