Good morning boxer friends!!!
I am on vacation in beautiful florida!! Orlando to be exact!
today is my last full day and night before we leave tomorrow night. We have been here a week.. We came for the Universal HAlloween Horror NIghts and went 2 times and did private RIP tours,,,,,, yes we did Disney too but the Scarey stuff was the main reason we came.. Everyone came this time, all 4 of my boys 25, 23, 21 and 16 so I have been so happy, only thing missing are my boxer babies who I miss terribly but they are home with my good friend staying at my house...
I really needed this vacation badly its been a tough few months...
IN 3 years I have had 3 surgeries, 2 medical procidures, a diabetes diagnose, fibro diagnose, been in the hospital 2 times for my bad stomach, had to wear a heart monitor for 30 days, more blood work then you can imagine, need braces for my knees ( being fitted soon) and need shoulder surgery next week.... oh yeah an throw in a car accident too.... I am so done!!! I am constantly sick feeling from my stomach... and now to top the cake I catch a cold on vacation!!!
but not bringing me down!!! I am going to spend this sunny day in Animal Kingdom and live my life fully...
Only thing missing are my boxer babies!!!!!
it will be interesting how I handle 2 boxers with no right arm next week as I will be in a sling after surgery for a couple of weeks....but I know the 1st few days my " boxer nurses" will gladly lay down with me all day and help me feel better..
Enjoy your day everyone!!

I AM HOME!!!!! the boys missed me so much! I had one of my best friends stay with them and they did so good! in fact Mason didn't go in that funky mood he does when I usually go away and pouts and won't eat for me for a few days... not this time he ate as soon as I got home and my friend said he ate for her real good... Mackie did great too...
I am getting ready for my surgery in a week, getting a bit nervous

Glad you arrived home safe & sound and that the boys did well. Good luck with your surgery. A friend of ours had two rotor cuffs done in the past year. Amazing....he could not even drive anymore, now he can drive and fish too. Hope your surgery goes as well as his two went. It took time and lots of PT but well worth it.

Glad you had a great vacation! Good luck during your shoulder surgery. Bags of frozen peas make good cold compresses and can be refrozen to reuse a few times. Just bang them gently on the floor to break up the peas.
