Humping too early?

Crixus is almost 4 months and he has been "humping" people's legs pretty often. I thought he was much too young for this! I read somewhere that sometimes in younger puppies this behavior isn't sexual, it's just something they do. I think in his case it is sexual, because when he does it there is something going on "down there."

I was a teenager myself and I kinda feel his pain :)

I am not sure if I just let him hump my leg and get over it so he doesn't feel the need of doing it to others or just stop him doing it every time.

Don't let him do it because then it becomes a habit. As mentioned, redirect him away with a toy or something.

We rented a cottage this summer and in the middle of the night, around 3 am, Duke woke us up. He was air humping and no matter what we did he wouldn't stop! He had never done that before. This went on for a good half hour at least! I even started to get worried that something was wrong with him! Maybe a bug crawled up in there or something. Eventually it stopped and we went back to sleep. It was the weirdest thing!
