1. Banes 15 weeks now, should he be fully potty trained by now?
Every time I say "let's go outside" "let's go potty" or anything like that he doesn't move I have to literally take him out. Though throughout the day if he has to go he will sit at the door (which I have to watch him all the time since he doesn't bark or let me know he's going to the door) l

2. He only wants to play with my husband. Every time he's near him bane wants to play bite and bark at him. There is never a time he just sits or lays down (unless I'm not there). How do I get him to see my husband other than a "play thing"?

Have your husband give all food/treats, take the lead on training, etc. We have this issue often, but my husband is rarely home so there's not much opportunity for him to feed/train Callie. He's one big chew toy to her. :)

Some others will be along with links for more info.

You've already gotten good advice on helping your husband not be a play toy! On the subject of potty training, some are fully trained at that age (I have one that hit that mark:). And I have one, my stubborn little girl, that took quite a bit longer. We would get to the point that we'd go 3 of 4 months without any kind of accident and then out of the blue she'd pee on the carpet, back to basics and on leash to avoid a repeat. She hates going outside if it's wet out (coming down or just wet grass :( She hates going out when it's cold, she hates, hates going out by herself, so if our older pup doesn't want to indulge her, one of us have to go out with her. Her favorite trick for quite a while if it was raining or super cold, was to poop in one of the guest rooms that she knows I don't always go into. So anytime she heads that way she's called back. I am very pleased to report that we've hit the 6 month mark and even with an recent ice storm no hidden surprises!! In fact, I've noticed that sometimes she's very insisten about ringing her bell even if she just went out and I'll let her out and she'll take care of business, she seldom takes care of both needs on the same trip outside, I wish somebody could explain that one to me.

You'll just have to hang in there and go back to basics if need be, your pup will get there.

Yep that was like Duke, you bragged to all your family and friends how he was finally trained and than out of the blue we pee'd on the carpet, by the door might I add... So I mean the intentions are there but i think Duke was fully trained around 7 months? All are different, can you use treats to get her outside?

I am trying to only give him treats when he goes potty. Which once he's outside he can be 50/50, either pees and poops and goes inside to get a treat, other time he just sits there and refuses to walk lol either way he goes potty no matter how long it takes he gets a treat. I guess I'll just have to sit it out and keep tons of paper towels on hand lol

Tell your husband to stop playing and wrestling with him. The puppy is viewing him as a playmate not as a leader. He needs to enforce verbally that that behaviour is not tolerated and any play is on his terms.

As for potty training, just stick to a schedule and be consistent. If h poops in the house then you aren't watching him close enough. Pick the poop up, place it outside in a designated potty area and take him out every hour to the same spot. Reward with a treat once he has gone.

I was going to suggest a bell on the door for your pup to ring when needing to do business. When I first moved to my parents, my fully potty trained girl had accidents in the house. I finally figured out after a few days the problem was she was going to the front door instead of the back door so I didn't know she was signaling. Now if she needs to pee and I don't see her she comes and sits in front of me and stares at me, if she needs to poop she whines at me. I swear, there are times I could have just taken her out and she did both but 15 minutes later she's asking to go out again. And of course, one dog can't go out without the other.

I'm trying to learn his quirks as well. Though if He does poop in the house and I don't see him I always knows when he does since he gets really hyper and runs around the house. Trust me I will walk him for 30 minutes he will pee twice come inside 15 minutes later another pee right there lol.

Kai basically trained very quick. I think he had only 3 maybe 4 accidents very early on, prior to 12 weeks. We were very vigilant and kept, and still do to a schedule. Always goes out to same spot in y are on leash and given command to potty. We always stayed out there if we thought it was a time that he should be going until he went. then lots of praise. Anytime we came in it was either a meal time and/or a play time. I thought he might think if I put him right back into his crate, he may not want to potty quickly. Anyway it worked he is fully trained now and will start to poke at you when he has to go out. The other day he was not settling down or playing with his toys and kept coming over putting his head on my lap then my daughters I said to her,,hmm he has to go..she said I just had him out. Well she went ahead and took him and of course he had to go. Bane will get it too.
