His forehead isn't as sharp as most I've seen, a little sloped but he's adorable. He looks like he has eyebrows, so cute. I wouldn't worry too much. It looks like you're going to have yourself a handsome boxer.

He is absolutely adorable. No matter what he looks like, even a poorly bred boxer has boxer personality, and you'll love the breed. And while I know there's a conformation standard, different lines DO look differently in my opinion. Just look at some stats to find breeders who show and look up their websites. You'll see differences.

In a few months, you're not gonna care if that dog is purple because you're gonna be so in love with him. When I first got Duke, all I saw was the fact he had exposed haws and they're white! (inner eyelid) He kinda looked cross-eyed or something. But I swear to you that I don't even think of that anymore and I can't believe that it bothered me, and quite honestly, I don't see it anymore.

Good luck with him, and welcome!

I love your boy's ears!!
My girl Mercedes had a short snout, and my boy Maximus has a longer more narrow like your boy.
I think the longer is better. Mercedes had a tough time breathing at times, especially when her allergies kicked in. Maximus has never had any problems.
I think you boxer is very handsome.

Your puppy is absolutely adorable!

I understand your concerns though. Although I'm sure I couldn't give up a dog once I had him, I guess the other way of looking at is that if you saved your money and wanted something specific and didn't get it, does that make it right and you should live with it? Yes, he's cute and adorable and will make a great pet....BUT....

If you bought a red car and then when you went to pick it up they brought out a lime green car, would you still drive off with it because you like the car?

Just another way of looking at. LOL

Exactly my point. But still I love him very much and I guess they could always "grow into" their faces as well am I right? like how much does their face as a puppy resemble their face when they are older?

Our boxer had a odd shaped head as well when we got him..I really think it was just his "puppy head" as funny as that may sound. He'll grow into it I am sure! He looks pure bread to me..I've had 3 boxers all who had different looks. Its what gives them personality! Love his ears!

When I first picked up Brock it looked like he had a huge cone on his head....we called him conehead for a while...lol. As he got older and developed his cone went away and his head became well-shaped. Maybe your little one will grow into his nose as he develops. Either way he looks great!

Here's Dave at 9 weeks:

and 5 months:

His nose is actually a lot longer than your pup's! (But like I mentioned; I chose a longer nose on purpose, LOL). Their faces go through a lot of changes. I think your guy is going to be very handsome and boxer-esque!
