is my dog on heat

my dog when out for a walk to day went a bit mad and ran much further away than usual and when I got her on the lead she was madly sniffing and tracking scents. all together more energy than usual? Is it true that you have to wait 3 months after heat to get dog neutered?

no you dont have to wait three months... but those arent signs of heat. is she swollen or licking her bottom excessively? usually you can look at her bottom and tell

females are spayed too btw lol
