I have a 9 year old male boxer up until a week ago was doing great. He all of a sudden has lost all energy, can hardly stand up, loosing balance, sensitive to the touch, very lathargic, looks dazed, not real responsive ,and has not left my garage in a week very UNLIKE Boxers. Just curious if anyone else has seen or had a boxer do this. Its almost like he's been poisioned IDK but he is not the same dog and I want him back to normal asap. Any suggestions?? Anyone?

Vet!!! Sounds like there is a serious problem going on...actually kind of sounds like the symptoms of meningitis... I would strongly suggest the vet or an ER vet ASAP!

If my dog was like this for a week....that last thing I would do is go to a forum and ask for suggestions. The first thing I would have done as soon as I saw a slight sign he was sick would be to call the vet.....
GO TO THE VET! Sorry to be harsh but you are gambling with your boy's life right now! |

WTH Does that mean exactly? Aside from the OBVIOUS need for medical attention, you might want to bring them in your house and care for him where he can be comfortable, warm, and close to you for comfort.
