Just found two Boxers!!

Hard to believe that out of all of the breeds out there that I look out my window and see two Boxers running max warp speed down the road!!! By the time I got out there they were at the other end of our long road... I called out to them and whistled, they stopped, turned around and ran full blast at me!! LOL Once I managed to stop them from using me as their own personal backboard I got their info and walked them home. Their back gate was unlocked but nobody was home, nice day, but I would never do that, our HOA only permits 4' feet high fencing, perfect for jumping Boxers to get over!! Anyway, I got their number and left a message about what happened. Nice looking dogs though!! Hopefully they will stay put until their parents get home!! Now I have to rebathe since I am FULL of Boxer slobber kisses!! LOL

Oh how cool. I live in Northern VA too but never seen those Boxers around . Glad you did the right thing.

At least I could find this address... A few weeks ago I found a dog roaming a very curvy road and he was sure to be run over. I looked up his info on my GPS and phone and couldn't find his address and nobody picked up the phone! (Neither did his Vet's office, it was a Sunday), So I roamed around for a good 45 minutes trying to find his home... finally say a private community with a gate guard that I asked and he said the road was in the community... Found the house and nobody home, left the dog with a neighbor!! I can't tell you how many people passed this poor pup on the road, how can you not stop? What if it were your dog? Anyway, I was glad I found his house, his Mommy and Daddy were an elderly couple and he was their baby and would have been devastated if something had happened. The "mom" called me and wanted to send me money but I refused, I just hope that somebody would do the same, wouldn't you? So, now that is 3 dogs in just a few weeks, hopefully I won't run into anymore "roamer" LOL

I was just shocked today to see two Boxers, strange after just getting one!! I have seen a lot in this neighborhood though!!

Today I was driving and a man was walking two dogs (on a leash) on the sidewalk to the right of me. Out of the corner of my eye (on the left) I see a white flash and I realize it is a dog running in front of my car towards these other dogs. I stood on my brakes and my car stopped on a dime - thank God! It was an American Bulldog - he was beautiful. I saw the owner ambling from behind what was sure to be the dog's home and call the pooch. Luckily the dog listened. I hope it was a one time thing. Scared the poop out of me!!!!
