I'm being nosey and going to ask
Does anybody know what happened with the 12 dogs that got stolen at Second Chance Boxers? I have them on my FB and they keep posting pictures of the dogs that were taken but I don't know the background on it. It seems strange to me that 12 dogs just disappeared and they actually know who took the dogs but can't get them back? Just wondering...

A volunteer offered to board a momma boxer, her 9 puppies, and two other adult boxers at her vet in Lake Wales until foster homes could be secured. When foster homes stepped up, the dogs disappeared. They are no longer at the vet. The volunteer removed them from boarding and their whereabouts are currently unknown. That's the gist of it. Sadly, there's been a rash of crap volunteers and so called "rescues" putting dogs at risk lately. We're dealing with a few in California right now. Some of those dogs have turned up dead. A lot of bad people out there.

I read some of the comments and apparently the woman didn't think they were being "cared" for so she's not returning them? Something along those lines...That sucks that the Rescues are having to deal with this crap on top of everything else they deal with.

Some crazy person named Paige Wilson (Beware Rescues- do not foster to this woman) apparently fostered the 9 puppies, took them to get their tails docked against SCBR's wshes to keep tails intact, and now won't give them back. She is also responsible for stealing 3 adult Boxers, one being HW+. She is also set up a ChipIn which is pretty outrageous.

Apparently aside from the pups of course the dogs were chipped so why is it that the Vet she took them to didn't do a follow up? If they are already chipped can't the rescue get them back? It's crazy to me that this woman can just decide not to return the dogs and nothing can be done??? Some of the dogs had been awaiting homes through the rescue... How sad that these dogs are not in their forever homes...
