Ran out of Dog Food

My wife the teacher and I the restaurant owner have been very busy - so at Jakes dinner time we noticed Jake was out of food. Darn. We found a couple of chicken breasts in the freezer and some brown rice, boiled them up. I have never seen Jake eat so fast - done, gone.

Jake will be disappointed when I come home with his usual ATOTW bison mix tomorrow.

LOL! Yes, they forgive easily. I've done that twice, the first time it was just Octane and he had to have wieners and rice! lol
Second time there was stew beef in the freezer.

I've done the same, too!! Now I "try" to keep an extra small bag on hand, or a can of wet food... I also make brown rice and sweet potatoes or carrots and will put some with her regular food. She ogles it up, and then eats the dry food "since she's already there"... Haha... I like to think of it as "sprinkles" on ice cream... It's all good... Plain ice cream is good, but add sprinkles, it's great...

I also reduce her dry by one scoop if I add the rice or vegetables...

I'm sure you will be forgiven... They seem to love most food put in front of them...

Oh, we've been there too. Brown rice, scrambled eggs and some sardines and Gracie was in heaven.

I tried to do sardines once with Octane... He allowed himself the opportunity to eat the same bowl twice... if you know what I mean.
He barfed, then ate it again...
