Well about a month and a half ago on a thursday night me and my wife were woken up at 3:30am to Titan as the foot of our bed growling like he has never done before. We both sat up and tried to get him to be quiet. He was just starring into the hallway. For about a min we just sat there wondering what was wrong with him, then creeek came from the kitchen. My wife screamed "there's someone in the house!" I jumped out of bed to see our back door close slowly. I ran out the back door and grabbed a person by the back of their sweater and threw them into the fence. I flipped the person over to discover it was a 20yr old girl! My 2 girsl were woken up and freaking out. Titan sat on their bed still growling while my wife called the cops. Now Titan is very protective of the family around strangers. He's still only 9 months so a bit scrared of people at first. He did a good job to get our attention!

Honestly, I'm not sure what Horatio would do. The other morning when it was still dark out we had a scary situation and there was a masked man hiding behind a tree in the park and Keenyah went into full attack mode but Horatio hid behind my legs. LOL. Thankfully Keenyah scared him off!! I know for certain that Keenyah would attack and protect. She'd die trying at least.
When I lived in Maryland I was at a stop light with the windows partially down and some guy tried to get into my car and Keenyah full on attacked him. He took off, I called the cops. The cops said that she must have nailed the guy cuz there was blood in my car. Plus the incident at the park just the other day. She started her low growling as soon as we got outside(i live right next to the park) and the second we walked into the park entrance, she was ready to attack and that's when I saw him and as soon as he saw Keenyah he took off. |

Well she was high on something plus I could smell lots of booze. She stole my shoes, beer, liquor and my hat. She said she lost her shoes and had been walking around barefoot. She started down the street looking for open doors and my lock had been forgotten that night. It was actually funny to see her wearing my size 13 shoes!

I have no doubt that both of my dogs would do their best to protect their family. Carmen is the watchdog. If anyone moves anywhere near our house she is on it. I call her the neighborhood watch. Midas (my lab mix) is not as much of a watchdog, but he is protective. Sometimes I may take him for a walk at night and if someone starts walking behind us he always has to turn around so he can watch their every move and he growls and barks. I usually have to drag him along until they are out of sight.

I think Letty would be attack if some one broke in. My roommate works nights so I'm home by myself during the week and she's always very alert to sounds goin on outside. Also, she doesn't like men a whole lot, so she would def attack if it was a man breaking in.
