Hi...
I am quickly approching my first winter with Georgie (8 months / 55 lbs)... We survived Hurricane Sandy with no major problems (there were small breaks in the wind and we would run outside so she could "do her business"). But, i was thinking of buying her a rain coat of some sort? and/or a fleece coat for the colder temps... Any suggestions on a good, durable brand to get? I see them range from $15-$40... |

I love anything made by Weatherbeeta
Dog Blankets , Range They make very strong and sturdy jackets for horses so I thought I would give them a go with my dogs. I bought 3 jackets, 4 yrs ago and they still look brand new

Along with the Weatherbeeta, JeffersPet has some cheaper ones.
Jeffers - Pet Supplies, Equine Supplies, Livestock Supplies The Weatherbeeta's are under the blanket and sheets category I believe. They have some really cool products there for good prices and their customer service is great. And they're divided by denier just like horse blankets. |

Does anyone know at what temperature you should start coating your boxer?

we have nylon coats with thineslite (sp) but we had to re sew the Velcro closures as they could and did pull them off each other
mine wear coats once it gets in the teens or in the mid 20's if they are going to be outside for longer than 30 min
