1. Don't bathe more than once a month right now. Pups need the natural oils in their skin. Ours are 8 and 11 mos and we now give baths about once every other week.
2. You're not doing anything wrong, puppies need time to acclimate. When we brought Liam home it took him about four days to show us his "wild side."
3. You're going to have pet odor have a pet now. This was a big thing for me too and now that we have two babies it's worse. I clean the floors like every 3-4 days and I bought glade plugins which help tremendously. Our bedroom was the worst and now all I smell is the plugin when I walk in.

He's quite the cutie!!! Congratulatiosn on your addition. i bathed Horatio every week but only his legs because he is white so as a puppy he was always dirty. Now he gets bathed every couple of months since stuff doesnt stick to his adult coat like his puppy coat. I'd say to get stuff you can sprinkle in the carpet and vaccuum up to help with doggy odor but if you keep pup and bedding clean, there shouldn't be any pet odor anyway. Good luck
