I'm used to get bruises on my arms from the rough housing, but this is the first time they literally took me out! LOL I'm going to give it a few days and will decide if I should go to the doctor or not. I just hate going.

Oh no. Nikki did something similar to me. I was lifting my cocker on the couch when she noticed all the attention wasn't on her. She ran full force between me and my cocker to get on the couch first and take the attention from Maggie. She hit me in the face full force with her head!! I thought for sure I was going to work the next day looking like someone punched me in the face. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it felt!

Oh no! Hope your knee heals quickly! I am nursing the same thing...Beau plowed into me while doing his zoomies and pushed my knee backwards. Hurts all the time, but has slowly been getting better. Now I know why the other folks at the field where the dogs run where bending their knees when the dogs ran near them! LOL.

Ouch! Ice, Ice, and more Ice.
I just learned the hazards of the boxer burn last weekend. One of the neighborhood boys, I'd say around 9 or 10, had come over to play with Jade in our backyard. They like to chase each other around and rough house, which is great for me because she can burn her energy, and I can sit back and relax. They were running beside each other at full speed when Jade suddenly changed direction and plowed right into him, taking him out with the force and precision of a linebacker in professional football. Luckily, being a young boy made of rubber, he was fine. Just a few minutes to catch his breath while Jade ran in circles around him begging for him to "get up and play!" was all he needed. I don't think I could say the same if that would have been me. Lesson learned, for both of us. |

I iced it off and on all night as well as keeping it elevated and and the swelling seems to have gone down some. It also feels like I have more motion in it. I'll be bringing a bag of frozen peas to work with me to keep icing it at work. I'm sure I'll look super cute with a bag of peas on my leg at work. LOL
