So out of curiousity, how many boxers (or other dogs) do you have and how big is your house/yard?
We only have Duke and we live in a 1200 sq. ft. townhouse (on 2 floors). The yard is fenced in but is very small (just about 22ft. x 25 ft.). However we do have miles and miles of walking trails and greenspaces right behind our complex and Duke goes for many walks. We also have 2 leash free dog parks within 5-15 minutes drive. I'm hoping that one day we'll be able to let Duke off leash in the school soccer field by us to play fetch after hours, to help burn off some of his energy. But until then, it will be leashed walks for him! Last edited by sasasola; 11-19-2012 at 10:25 AM. Reason: corrected spelling |

We have 3 boxers and our house is 1107sqft. For land we live on about an acre, most of it is the backyard which is completely fenced in. Probably 1/4 maybe less is our front yard.
We live in the country, but it's really just outside of the city. We get all kinds of wild critters (deer, turkeys, raccoons, fisher cats, opposum, skunks, etc) so walking is tricky early morning and late evening. Most of the exercize ours get is just running around outside in our backyard, but we do walk them when we can too so they can get some mental stimulation in as well.

I have a boxer & a Shih Tzu. Have a large yard with invisible fencing plus 5 acres of pasture where they can run when I am with them. Too many critters to let them out there alone. Always have to check the yard as well before I let them out. Mostly for Coyotes and porcupine. Deer usuall take off when I yell at them as soon as I open the door.

We have 2 boxers and live in a 1000 sq ft home. Our yard is long but small and no fence. Rusty roams free as we have some great neighbors who love when he visits. Dually is leashed all times bc of her prey drive and not listening the small rodents get the best of her. Lol. We do lots of playing and walks I large open fields and if need be the tennis courts are fenced in an if I can make it before its dark we stop by the dog park

I have 2 boxers & living in an 1100 sq. ft. house. Our yard is longer but narrow. The girls have a blast doing their boxer burns. For now we live in military housing but I have said when we get our own place it MUST have a big backyard. We take Pheona out for walks & come Wednesday we can start walking Murphy.
