Thanks for the Heart Attack Logan!!

I was outside with all three dogs doing some yard work. I was at the far end of the yard in a spot where I’m not completely visible from the street. I looked up and saw this white van stopped at the edge of my driveway for a few seconds and then it sped off. I looked around and Mason was right behind me, but no Logan or Abby. I called for both repeatedly, but neither one came. So at this point I’m in panic mode thinking that this van stole them and that’s why the sped off. I kept calling for them as I ran to the house, still nothing. I get to the house and open the door and there’s Logan sitting all proper like patiently waiting to come outside and Abby’s bouncing around happy to see me opening the door. Logan the little stinker decided to let him and Abby inside without me realizing it! I have a bad habit of keeping our screen door open when I go outside and Logan taught himself how to open the big wooden door. He usually doesn’t do it unless we all go in though. Scared the **** out of me that’s for sure!

Once I calmed down I realized that it would’ve been virtually impossible for someone to steal them. For one I know they would’ve scared Abby and she would’ve booked it over to me. The gates on both sides are securely shut with chains and locks too so the noise they’d be making to get into the yard would’ve gotten my attention too!

OMG...that is so scary. I would of been flipping out as well. We put a lock on our front gate as I was scared that kids walking through would just be bored & open gates. I always made the girls go into a sit & stay so I could check to make sure gates are closed before releasing them to go outside. I still make them sit & wait but that is just for training purposes.

Sucks when you get scared that way, glad it was all good though.

Yes, Lynne it definitely does suck when you're that scared! I was so relieved to see them sitting inside when I opened the door.

That would have freaked me right out! Thank goodness they were safe and sound in the house!

Little brats just need to make sure you realize how much you would miss them! lol
