Murphy came to us on puppy chow as well. We transitioned her from that to the lamb & oatmeal blue buffalo. I do remember some gas issues. We are now transitioning her from the lamb & oatmeal to the grain free chicken. I haven't noticed gas with the current change. Wish you the best.

Gas is a rare problem here. Actually Baylee never has gas just Jaxon.

both my boys can clear a room pretty quickly, but sometimes I think it is my husband blaming the dogs.

I found a shirt online the other day that said something about...I blame my boxer on the farts. I think my husband blames the dogs a lot of the times.

So far so good on the Blue Buffalo. No farts and the stools seem to be firming up. Still a bit on the soft side, but I think I'm still in the transition side still.

My baby had vomiting, the runs and terrible gas on BB, it just did not agree with her. She is now on Wellness and other then the gas she has no problems. I will say if you go to the BB website and sign up they will send you $5 off coupons almost monthly.

Thanks for the tip on the coupon. No problems yet on BB, "yet" being the key word. As for the farting, I think that comes with the breed..

You can not get rid of all their gas... They are Boxers after all and they come with the breed.

When I first got Nelson he was on puppy chow. I switched him to Merrick and it didn't sit we'll with him. His stools were extremely soft or explosive diarrhea. Poor guy! So then I tried BB Freedom grain free puppy chicken. His stools are normal and he loves the food. However, gas is out of control. Not exactly sure if its the food or his treats though. Any recommendations on some good dog treats?

We use pieces of the dogs' kibble as treats. Occasionally, we'll give them baby carrots, or slices of apple (if we're having one). They also love watermelon, when in season. My poodle loves blueberries, too. Bottom line, give what you already have on hand that's healthy, rather than some grain laden, made who-knows-where dog treat. There are also recipes on line for making your own healthy dog treats if you want to try that route.
