I swear my boxers know when I am having a bad day or am upset over anything not only am I greeted with extra wiggle butts but they will be all over me the second I sit down to cuddle and how can you stay upset with boxers all over you giving kisses?
if I have had a good day I still get wiggle butts but they are content to play on their own for a while before coming over for a cuddle If I am ill or a family member is they will not leave your side but wont be pushy or drown you in kisses they are just right there next to you in case you need them I have seen all three sleep in the bathroom on a cold hard floor with my daughter when she had a stomach bug and not leave her side till she was better and when I am really hurting they stay right with me till the pain is better I have never had a breed that seemed more in tune with me than my boxers are

Most animals are like that, even birds
Its a love-love thing,if you take great care of them and pamper them, the bond is unbreakable

For anyone that loves dogs and has Netflix... "Dogs Decoded- nova" is a MUST SEE! It explains WHY dogs are so tuned into their humans and why they are mans (and woman's) best friend.

My girls are the best. I can be having the worst day & just seeing the little wiggle butt dance they do will put a smile on my face. When we had to have our Maggie put down, Pheona & I both went into a depression. Not only was I depressed over the loss of Maggie, I was depressed for Pheona losing what she thought of as a mom figure & a playmate. I would have days where I would just sit & cry for hours. Pheona would put her front legs up on me like she was giving me a hug and put her head on my chest. She would sit that way for the longest time. I truly love my fur babies.

After losing my other dog to cancer last year Holly stayed with me while I was hysterical and sobbing she refused to leave my side. she would just lay with me, it was as if she knew how much I needed her to just be there so I wouldn't be alone. I also had a cat that would not leave my side when I had pneumonia (he even followed me to the bathroom) he was constantly by my side for a week, day and night. It truly is a wonderful thing that animals can tune in and understand human emotions.

Horatio is starting to get tuned into me(he's only 9 months old) but my Keenyah Jean is soooo tuned into me. Sometimes it's scary. LOL. But it's soooo sweet. If I'm crying or clearly upset, she will not leave my side no matter what. She certainly helps bring me out of my funk
