I have been following a story on the Boxer Rescue Ontario Facebook page regarding a missing boxer. People from all over are meeting in the area that it was spotted to help find this dog and reunite it with its family. I found it so touching to see all these people united by their love of the breed, wandering in the cold weather day and night to save this dog.

Trish I saw that too on FB. It's heart warming to know so many people are looking for that dog. Has there been any recent progress?

when Roxi had her oops litter almost 4 years ago (where did that time go?) one of her pups was adopted by a family who lived out in the country they named him Harley he was not really fond of the pool they had but would hang out by it to stay with his people in the summers 2 years ago they had a family reunion at their house and everyone was up by the grill and getting dinner all of a sudden Harley jumped into the pool and dove under he drug up the owners 2 yr old niece who had climbed in when no one was watching her she was the only child his sister could have due to complications and she was on the bottom of the pool that was the first time he had ever jumped in the pool she ended up being ok and Harley ended up with a steak dinner and I got the most appreciative phone call from not only the owner but his sister who has since adopted a boxer!

Wow they must have been SO proud of Harley..I cant even imagine that gave me goosebumps!

I just read through this thread and just love hearing how wonderful dogs are. I already knew, of course, but these are just great. Animals are the best!!

I was feeling down yesterday and Jasper and Lexi stayed by my side and Lexi was sure to give me tons of kisses.
