I have the same problem with Sebastian, he is 6 months and listens to my bf way more than me. The funny thing is I raised him by myself for the first 3 months while my bf was in the Army. I think we are getting petsmart training for a Christmas present from his parents... Keeping my fingers crossed!

Yes, about 7 months is when they all of a sudden forget everything they learned before.
It's a stage they go through.
Be consistent and firm, and if you haven't gone to obedience training, it's not too late and not a bad idea.

We have been going to obedience but with the silly season of parties and visitors and the hot weather, Friday & Saturday reached 41 Deg about 107F, I haven't gotten there for a few weeks.
After the last hot day of obedince I am not game to take her on the stinker days, I don't need my baby getting heat stroke again.
I will just have to perservere, just like children, God made them cute enough that you forgive them every time.

Mind you Saturday jumping from the couch onto my husband laying in the beanbag I thought she would never be forgiven again!

Stacie, if you are in Austin we are about an hour & a half (give or take from you). We did Petsmart training here and it was awesome. Our instructor was great. We will be going back to the same lady with our newest pup after the holidays.

Hahaha... Its gotta be the rebelious teenage years!

Karma knows I am pack leader and at times she challenges the hubby for pack status.

Training classes have helped me tremendously in aquiring the pack leader role! I highly suggest classes or training of some kind.

Af_wx_wife, we are in austin! I've met a few of the trainers and they all beg for us to bring Sebastian bc he is so social and friendly! I'm really looking forward to it!
