My first boxer "fat lip"...

My hubby went to the doctor due to a persistent pain in his manly area. . . in the waiting room he realized Octane punched him in the junk everytime he walked through the door.

Upon returning home Friday night, I was greeted with much enthusiasm... During the love and kiss fest, I somehow ended up with a bloody fat lip (inside lip hit my lower teeth).

I knew it was bound to happen and I guess I've been lucky it took this long... I call it a "love battle wound".... Of course, it was done unintentionally and out of pure love and joy...

Thankfully, the swelling went down and it's barely noticeable... But it is now a little bruised... Thankfully, I can just put some lip gloss on and call it a day... However, it is tender and even her slightest kiss pains it a little... But, better each day!!

I'm sure this is the first of many...

I have bruises all over me too!!! Mostly my legs! He's 50 lbs and can knock me flat on my butt!!! He's a little less than half my weight!

Hahaha!!! I call it the 'spastic puppy' - with the floppy, wobbly unpredictable body and hysterical kisses! Ears back lovin, can't get enough...despite the risk of injury

My lip is much better, thanks all!!!

She got me again tonight!!! This time I was bending down to get her tennis ball which she does NOT give up easily and BAM her head hit my face!! I saw stars and felt like I got the wind knocked out of me!! Thankfully, I did not get a bloody nose!! And once I caught my breath, I realized it was next to my nose and it could have been much worse if it was any other spot!! It hurts a little but i put ice on it so hopefully it'll be fine tomorrow...

Is Georgie trying to rough my face up for the holidays?!?!

Glad its not just me that gets beat up by my dog. I took a punch to the face today. Didn't get a busted lip but got a mean welp from from my nose to my chin from her nails!! I tell any male that drops by to "watch your jewels"..she gets my dad in the goodies all the time. They have so much energy and are so loving.

Yes, They are way too lovable for their own good sometimes!! I've suffered several scratches and bruises (all out of pure love). But she's gotten me twice this week!! Doesn't she know Santa is watching?!

Yesterday, my neighbor who watches Georgie during the day, was bending over to clean her crate (spilled water) and Georgie was jumping in excitement and pushed her IN the crate!! Haha!! We think maybe Georgie was trying to tell her something...
