My boxer puppy is 9-months old... And 55 lbs... And very lovable... I've pretty much had bruising on some part of my body since the day I got her...
Upon returning home Friday night, I was greeted with much enthusiasm... During the love and kiss fest, I somehow ended up with a bloody fat lip (inside lip hit my lower teeth). I knew it was bound to happen and I guess I've been lucky it took this long... I call it a "love battle wound".... Of course, it was done unintentionally and out of pure love and joy... Thankfully, the swelling went down and it's barely noticeable... But it is now a little bruised... Thankfully, I can just put some lip gloss on and call it a day... However, it is tender and even her slightest kiss pains it a little... But, better each day!! I'm sure this is the first of many... |

Dixie gave me my first fat lip the other day. We were playing and I reached over her to get a toy and she raised up with that knucklehead and if it had been a little harder...there would have been blood on that one. Her face and head might look squishy and soft....but it's as hard as a rock!!

Sally gave my mum a blood nose a couple of weeks ago... it was then I noticed that when I greet her I put a hand on her shoulder blades to stop her from jumping up and head butting me! |

Ouch! I have done the same thing. When I first got Gabby it just drove her BONKERS when I slammed my hands on the bed and looked at her. She would jump across the bed at me, jump back and do circles and then back and start a total lick fest on my face. Lol. Well, a couple times she butted heads with me...
Maggie has head butted me (also on the bottom lip), punched me with her paws, and given me a slightly black eye. She has also accidentally bitten me instead of grabbing the toy a couple times. Oops! Needless to say, we play a little rough sometimes. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App
