Things are winding down with Barkley

You and your family are in my thoughts as well. You clearly love your pup! You have done a wonderful job as his mom and i know that he is very appreciative. My pups get me through my tough days and put a smile on my face when I dont even think I could find the smile.

I went through that slow decline with Charlie, and it's really difficult. We all know how much you love him. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. My heart goes out to you.

Cait, we are sending lots of hugs (and slobbery kisses), to you, your family and Barkley. My old boy Harley is going through something similar. It hurts so much to see your best friend go through that.

I just knew you would be a comfort to me...you helped me deal with an situation that was not expected that day. You listened and prepared me, and for that I will be forever grateful. This post made me cry today. Because I know the pain of watching a.beloved friend fade away from cancer and I know the pain of saying goodbye when it's time. I also cried because it's so obvious the amount of love you and your husband have for Barkley. He knows he is with family that love him and will love him forever. I hope one day I can make a difference in the lives of senior rescues like you. You're an angel.
