Christmas Gifts

Today I finished up shopping for our local animal shelter as we decided this year we will donate to them. Well as we were packing up the gift bags both Pheona & Murphy were shoving their heads into the bags to see what was in them. I wish I would of jumped up to grab the camera. It was quite the site. Then we drove over to the shelter to drop the stuff all off. One of the dogs they had out in the front room started to go nuts sniffing the bag. Someone in there looking at dogs said, I bet he knows what is in the bag. I think he could just smell Pheona & Murphy. Well as we told the lady who runs the place Merry Christmas & started putting bags on the table she questioned if we had kittens in the bags. I just looked at her in disbelief but I'm going to guess that since she said that they've had people do that. (What has our world come to??) We assured her no kittens or animals for that matter, just goodies for the cats, dogs & the workers. We wished them all a Merry Christmas & went on our way.

That's a great idea! If I didn't wait so long to do Christmas shopping this year I'd have more money right now so I could do this too. Next year!

Sad about the kittens in the bags thing. I agree, this world has gone downhill in a hurry and it just keeps sliding.
